Earlier this year the shortlist of CILIP Carnegie best books of 2020 was announced. This national award is judged by librarians throughout the UK and they have announced the winner.
It is Lark by Anthony McGowan. However, followers of the competition can vote on which is their favorite and the winner is given the Shadowers' Choice award.
Do you agree with the judges or will you pick something different? See below how to make your judgment.
Interact with the Carnegie Shortlists this Summer!
Bored with your electronic games but still want to be on the computer interacting with moving images? Head over to the book pages to explore this year's shortlisted books and enjoy video and audio content from the authors. If any of them inspire you to read their book I have a copy of each of them in the library when you return to school in September. If you cannot wait that long, see if you can get a copy from your nearest public library. They are now running a 'select and collect scheme'.
