Accenture Decoded (Computer Science Trip)
On Wednesday 21st March, 10 year 10 students had the opportunity to attend an immersive business simulation with the aim of developing transferrable skills and giving them a taste of the working world.
In the morning, students were briefed about a breach of security at the company. A rouge member of staff had stolen sensitive data. The aim of the day was to piece together who had committed the security breach and present their findings to a panel. At the end of the day, the rouge employee was reviled.
The students had to hold there nerve and work together to solve the problems presented to them throughout the day. The head-scratching activities and challenges provided an excellent platform for students to practice their collaboration skills working with students from other schools throughout the day.
