A ‘Cambridge First’ for Thomas More Catholic School.

We are delighted to report that Katie EARL, one of our Year 13 students, has been accepted into Queen’s College, Cambridge, to study Natural Sciences (Physical).

Katie is an outstanding student who achieved 4 As at AS Level last year; she is a keen physicist and hopes to go on to achieve 4 A*s in her finals this year.

She will be the first student from Thomas More Catholic School to go to Cambridge University in September 2012. With our improving results and progress with our 6^th Form, we know she won’t be the last.

We are so pleased that Katie's hard work has been rewarded; she is a conscientious student who has taken an active part in everything at the school. She is a keen debater, a singer, a valued member of the 6^th Form team – she lives life to the full!

Katie’s family has a long history with TMCS; her dad was a student here and her brother is in Year 10.

‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step’ – where Katie leads more will follow.

Congratulations Katie – we will leave it to you to blaze a trail for TMCS at Cambridge.
