At Thomas More Catholic School we believe in the importance of a broad and balanced curriculum which enables children and young people to develop a range of knowledge and skills to prepare them for all appropriate academic pathways and a full and rich adult life.
We are proud that our curriculum has breadth and balance ensuring that all students develop an understanding and appreciation of the Creative and Physical Arts, Technology, Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages alongside the core subjects throughout Key Stage 3. Our aim is that students maintain such balance into Key Stage 4, which enables them to specialise in a field of study when they go onto Sixth form, University, any further training and Employment. We have a 3 year GCSE programme, starting in year 9 which is carefully selected and tailored to ensure all learners are catered for at all levels.
